Monday, October 14, to Thursday, October 17, 2019
One of the key questions addressed by the WZLforum during the "Week of Electromobility," taking place between October 14 and 17, 2019, in Aachen, is how efficient mass production of electric mobility components can be realized and established in Germany.
The key event of the week is the 7th Electric Vehicle Production Days on 15 and 16 October.
First and foremost, we will discuss:
- How the “Forschungsfertigung Batteriezelle“, a research factory for the production of battery cells located in North Rhine-Westphalia, enables the improved and scalable production of battery cells in Germany as well as the creation of circular added value.
- How product and process innovations in the powertrain sector can contribute to increasing efficiency, for example by using hairpin instator technology or increasing the system voltage to 800V.
- How alternative drive concepts – characterized by fuel cells – and a mix of fuel cell electric hybrid vehicles will dominate the future of mobility.
