128th Annual Convention of the Modern Language Association of America

Professor Ludwig Deringer (American and Canadian Studies) will be attending the 128th Annual Convention of the Modern Language Association of America (MLA), scheduled to take place in Boston from January 3 to 6, 2013.

 

Deringer will present a paper entitled " 'Fairness': Theodore Roosevelt, the Occupy Movement, and President Obama's 2012 Campaign Rhetoric," on the panel “Shaping Public Opinion in 2012".

Comprising a membership of nearly 30,000 scholars in 100 countries, the New York-based MLA is the parent organization to the entire field of modern languages and literatures, and figures among the principal associations in the profession worldwide.
