Waiting Times

Please note: You can expect longer waiting times at the beginning and ending of office hours and on Wednesday afternoon in general. We thank you for your understanding.

Availability by Phone

We are hard to reach by phone during office hours, since they are helping students in person. We recommend calling us outside of office hours.

Advising By Appointment

For more complex matters, it is also possible to make an appointment with the relevant staff member outside of office hours. As a rule, the time slot for appointments is Fridays between 10am and 12 noon.

To make an appointment, please get in touch with the relevant member of staff early on, so that the appointment can be confirmed at least one day in advance. Please understand that sending an e-mail informing us about your intention to come to the office at a certain time is not sufficient. Also, asking for a short-term appointment on the same day is not possible.

Submission and Collection of Documents

Between 8 and 11:30am and 1 and 4pm, you can submit documents such as medical certificates or final theses at the ZPA Office, Room 229, in the SuperC building. By appointment with the relevant staff member, you can also come to the office to collect your documents.

Furthermore, you can deposit your documents, such as medical certificates or notices of withdrawal, in one of the ZPA mailboxes on the 2nd or 3rd floors of the SuperC. This does not apply, however, for final theses. The mailboxes are emptied twice a day. If there is a deadline for the submission of your document, please use the after-hours mailbox (“Fristenkasten”).
