At this year’s IEEE Symposium on Large Data Analysis and Visualization, which was hosted at Baltimore, Maryland, USA, Andrea Schnorr and Tom Vierjahn of the Virtual Reality Group, RWTH Aachen University, presented two posters.
Tom Vierjahn, Marc-André Hermanns, Bernd Mohr, Matthias Stefan Müller, Torsten Wolfgang Kuhlen and Bernd Hentschel received the “Best Poster Award” for their poster “Correlating Sub-Phenomena in Performance Data in the Frequency Domain”. In this work the authors presented a mathematical framework for computing and visualizing filtered correlation analysis in order to automatically locate interdependencies in call-path performance profiles of massively parallel high-performance computing (HPC) applications.
